Simple but true:  not all Realtors are created equal.  Even I tend to paint us all with the same brush, and that couldn’t be further from the truth!

Please, please, please interview your agent before hiring them.  Hold their feet to the fire:

What have they listed/sold in the past year?  Will you be dealing with them directly, or a member of their team?  What classes have they taken to better their self and stay current?  What is their turnaround time for phone calls?  What do their past clients have to say about them?  How do they stay in touch after closing?

And, most importantly, do they see you as a person?  Is their heart in your transaction or are you a means to a paycheck?

You can be represented by a stellar agent if you do your homework up front.  Take charge of your next Real Estate transaction.
